Green Shields died before 1910 according to the 1910 census his wife states she is widowed.

Lewis Shields is buried in Crosley Cemetery. He was born 4-10-1902 and passed 4-15-1973.
Rogan funeral home told me there are two other spaces by his that they do not know who is there.

Was told by Frank Wheeler "white man" that lives in Messer, Choctaw County, Oklahoma that Lewis Shields had a step daughter named Marie that had a baby that died in infancy and was buried on the Lewis Shields home place off of hwy 93 in Messer. He said Marie is living some were in California. I do not know if there was a grave marker placed or not. Rogan Funeral Home has no record of this infant child.
