STEPHENS & JEFFERSON COUNTY/WARDEN

I am looking for someone who might be familiar with cemeteries in Stephens County in or around Velma area.

There were seven (7) Hezekiah Warden, my 3rd great grandfather was the 1st. His son, by 3rd wife, was named Hezekiah, born abt 1866, TX and resided in or around Velma or in Cotton Co. in 1930. He was married at least 4 times and I believe he is buried in Stephens Co.

I have followed others in his family to this same County.

Anyone care to help me out? I live in Oregon.

p.s. I failed to note in my haste to say that these folks lived in area of Ringling and Cornish and descendants were in Ryan as well.

The Stephens County Genealogy Library in Duncan can check Cemetery Records, they do have some Jefferson County Records.
If an Obit can be found, they will ask for a $5.50 donation made payable too Library, for locating and mailing.
