the 2nd Thursday of every month at 1 p.m. in the Heritage Room of the Donald W.
Reynolds Library, 703 E. Jackson Street, Hugo, OK.

The
Choctaw County Genealogical Society maintains a Research Library in the
Heritage Room of the Donald W. Reynolds Library. The Heritage Room is
available during library hours of M, T, & Th 9am – 7pm, W & F 9am – 6pm,
Sat 9am – 2pm. We do ask that you sign in at the library’s front desk.
No food, drink or children under 12 yrs. are allowed in the Heritage
Room.

| Membership is open to anyone interested in
genealogy. Annual dues are $20.00 for all members which includes our
online quarterly. Membership year is Jan 1st to Dec 31st.
Membership dues are due on or before Jan 1st to ensure access to
membership benefits including the online
quarterly. Our quarterly is published each January, April, July, and
October.
Queries in the quarterly are free to list for members and $5 per
query for non-members.
Each quarterly includes our featured family section. If you would
like to see your family featured in the featured family section in a
future issue, contact April for
details on submitting information. Please include "CCGS Featured Family"
in the subject line of the email.

As of May 2008 CCGS will no longer accept lookup requests by email.
In an attempt to sustain the society we will now charge lookup fees for
lookup and photocopying requests. Please note that these fees are
non-refundable whether the record is located or not. Research services
are available for members and non-members alike. In addition, we are
now offering research services. These services are limited to Choctaw
county research and Ancestry.com records. These services are process on
a first come, first serve basis and therefore may have a waiting list.
Research fees are also non-refundable.
Research Fee Schedule Any
requests sent without research fees will be returned to you unprocessed.
Please remember, this is an attempt to sustain the society and purchase
items for our research library. All fees are considered donations and
are 100% tax deductable. If you are a current society member, please
check the members only section for records before requesting
information. It is also advisable to check for information listed on the
okchocta site. |
