Barbara Becker Meehan, MLIS, CG will present: Genealogy Using DNA: First Steps, an introduction to DNA testing for genealogy, how it works and how it should help you discover more about your ancestors.
A Tulsa native, Mrs. Meehan is Technical Services Supervisor of Acquisitions for the Tulsa City-County Library System.
She was certified by the Board for Certification of Genealogists in 1998 and graduated from the University of
Oklahoma with a Master of Library and Information Studies in 2008. She maintains a website at: www.desktopgenerations.com.

history research. The society contributes to the Local History and Genealogy collection at the Muskogee Public Library and
other genealogy and history related projects and is a member of the Federation of Genealogical Societies.
