This is an alphabetical listing of obituaries and deaths found in the Muskogee Daily Phoenix, Muskogee, Oklahoma
from January to June 1954 and 1955 through 1992.

Explanation
The item may be found in obituary columns or news items. A notice may appear more than once in the newspaper.

The name of the individual is followed by the town in which they lived, the month, day, year, and page number
of the newspaper where the event is found. The state is Oklahoma unless otherwise noted.

Notices of deaths and obituaries contain genealogical material which may not be found elsewhere.
The subject's place of birth and date, and names of parents are often mentioned.
Place of burial, funeral homes, and survivors may be listed which enables the researcher to find living relatives.
