QUERY: I am trying to find out about my g-grandfather. He was killed and left on the railroad tracks outside Caney in about 1904 or 1906 Some where in there. He was suppose to of had a drug store or just a store and was robbed on his way home, he was on horseback. His name was Andrew Jackson Taylor and his wife was Ella Mae Miller, He had eight kids. After his death the banker told his wife they would work with her on the note for the store, then foreclosed on her. The kids and her lived in a covered wagon after that. The kids where Andy, Willie, Jesse, Carrie, Mamie, Rufus, Lonnie and Susana. Any leads you could give me on this would be great! Thank you NanKent@earthlink.net

Their only child was Ramsey Douglas Betts, my greatgrandfather. David married #2 Choctaw woman named Betsy____? They had several children. They divorced and David married #3 Mary Ann SEAGO. QUERY: Looking for the birthplace of Lou Etta OWEN. The 1920 Morgan Co, AL census syas she was born in TN. I know there was a Lou Etta OWEN born in Macon Co. TN. But, I seem to remember Lou Etta (she was my grandmother) saying she was born in OK or on the way to OK. She was part Cherokee Indian, and had Cherokee features. My dad recalls her saying she was adopted. She married Charles PARKER of either Sumner or Smith Co. TN before 1899. I would like to hear from anyone who can help with finding out information on Lou Etta OWEN. She was born 1877-1881?. Thanks!
