Photos of Gideon School circa 1939-1940 and the students that attended in that year.
My mother in law taught there that year and stayed with a family in the area.
There is also an article about the Principle/Teacher Mrs. Susie Walker (Alberty) from later in her life.
The small photos of the children are of the pupils in the primary classroom taught by Margaret Wyscarver.
The Taylor family is the family she stayed with while teaching at the school.

There were two teachers for the two classes and here are the photos of the two teachers.
