In the matter of the application of Jefferson J. Terry for enrollment as an intermarried citizen of the Choctaw Nation. Jefferson J. Terry being first duly sworn testified as follows:

A About eighteen years.Q Have you lived here continuously for the past eighteen years?

A No sirQ Do you claim intermarried rights in the Choctaw Nation?
A Yes sir.Q What is the name of your Choctaw wife through whom you claim these rights?
A Josephine Hickman.Q Is she a recognized and enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation?
A Yes sir.Q Have her rights to enrollment ever been disputed?
A No sir.Q When were you married to Josephine Hickman?
A In ’98, October.Q Where was this marriage ceremony performed?
A Goodland, I. T.Q At that time were both you and she bona fide residents of the Choctaw Nation?

A Six years.Q Until her death, or did you separate?

A I have one: the second one, Jimmie Hickman, has been lost: the judge that granted that divorce is here, he can testify to that part of it himself.Q Who was the Judge?

McMillan being first duly sworn states that as stenographer to the Commission to the Five Civilized Tribes he reported the proceedings had in the above entitled cause on the 3rd day of December, 1902, and that the above and foregoing is a full, true and correct transcript of his stenographic notes taken in said.
