Commissioner Morton Dying
The Hugo Husonian April 18, 1912 - transcribed by Ron Henson

County Commissioner J.M. Morton is reported in a dying condition at 8 o'clock this morning.
Commissioner Morton had accompanied Tom Hunter, Bud Milam and others on a hunting and fishing expedition, and returned Tuesday night in a very serious condition having congestion. Wednesday he was reported in a very serious condition and grave apprehension exists. But few people of the [unreadable] Commissioner Morton, who has been a pioneer, and his condition alarms all.
