Needham-McMurty Wedding Announcement
Husonian June 11, 1902

     Yesterday morning Mr. Enoch Needham of this place and Miss Nettie McMurty were married at the residence of the Bride’s mother at Cameron. Rev. Lacy of the Presbyterian church officiating. The happy couple left immediately on the south bound limited, passing through this place this afternoon. They will visit several Texas points before returning here, where they will make their home.
     The groom came to Hugo from Talihania when the building of the town was first contemplated and has since been prominent in the real estate business. He is a young man full of energy and integrity and whose prospects for the future are quite promising. The bride is a beautiful accomplished young lady and is very popular in the social circles of the town in the northeastern part of Choctaw county, where she is well known. She received her education at the Tuskahoma Female Seminary and is connected with some of the best families in the Choctaw Nation.
     The Husonian joins their many friends in wishing them a happy and prosperous voyage through life.
