Main entrance at 8th Street & Trice. 2 blocks north of the junction of US 70 and 8th Street (junction is marked with multiple cable TV and cellular towers along with an elementary school. Do not confuse US 70 with Business US 70 which runs through town. From Business US 70 you would travel south about a mile to the cemetery.) Excellent access with paved roads throughout the cemetery. The historic Horse Prairie school was one mile east. Approximately 1.5 miles east of US 271 on SH 109 then 1 mile north on gravel road. Cemetery is fenced and maintained. Not listed on GNIS. Possibly alternate name for Grant. Funeral Home records place burial of Edith and Georgia Gooding at Pollard however enumeration places them at Grant. There is also a Pollard cemetery in McCurtain Co.

Poor Farm

Oldest recorded burial 1903. 2,413 burials listed. A few blocks north of the First Baptist Church in Boswell.  Well marked and maintained. Beautiful location overlooking the Boggy River bottom. GPS 34.0338N 95.8691W Location S17 T6S R14E MAP 1

Robison Family

Just before the little bridges west of the Oberlin/109 crossroad, on the south side of the road setting back within the Robison's pasture is the Robison Family Cemetery. Containing 2-3 grave-sites. Information courtesy of Sherri Cheek. Location S20 T7S R14E

State Highway 147 North to County Road E2010 West 0.4 miles then right (north) 0.2 miles cemetery on right. The Schooler Lake Cemetery is another Thomas Family Cemetery. One brother had his family buried at his farm and the other brother had his family buried at his farm. Both brothers are on the same census in 1900 living side by side with their families. Turn east to Spencerville approx 3.5 miles on paved county road.  The cemetery is on the north side of the county road and isn't visible from the roadway. Signage on road easy to miss. Follow Broadway Street south from downtown Hugo. When you pass under US 70 the cemetery will be on your left. Entrance is at south end of cemetery where road curves right to cross railroad track.  Good road to the cemetery; all but about 50yds paved. Sugar Creek

Location unknown. Possibly located near Sugar Loaf mountain (S22T5SR12E) in Bryan County, N.W. of Boswell or Sugar Loaf mountain in western Pushmataha Co., north of Darwin. Funeral Home records place burial of Frank E. Low at Sugar Loaf while enumeration places burial at Restland. Also listed in Soper Funeral Home records as burial place of Fannie Walker dod 1/18/1914.

Sweet Hill

Approx 3 miles west of US 271 on SH 109 then south approx 2/10 mile on poorly maintained one lane dirt road. Notes:  Small sign on SH 109 indicating where to turn. Land deed indicates name was Antioch at one time.  Enumerated, photographed & contributed to OKCHOCTA by JoLynn Self. 335658N / 0953419W  Location S13 T7S R16E Menerva Blunt deeded the property to the trustees of "Antoach Cemetery" (N.T. McGee, S. Lemmons, Sam Hollis) February 1924. Legal description: "Beginning at the S.E. corner of the NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section Thirteen in Township 7 South and Range 16 East, thence run west 210 feet a stake thence north 1050 feet a state, thence East 210 feet a stake on the range line between Ranges 16 & 17 in said township 7 S, thence South on said line 1050 feet to the place of beginning, containing 5 acres of land more or less as the case may be."
