Dollie Faye Barnes

Funeral services for Dollie Faye Barnes of Hugo will be held at 2 p.m. October 14, 2004, at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Green officiating. Interment will be in Ft. Towson Cemetery.
Mrs. Barnes died October 10, 2004, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital. She was 79. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Hugo.
Dollie Faye was born April 11, 1925 in Durant, the daughter of William Embree Jones and Sarah Bell (Quin) Jones and had lived in Choctaw County most of her life. She enjoyed embroidery, going to church and visiting with her grandbabies. She married Ray Barnes on May 19, 1956 in Ft. Towson. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1980. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Vierte May Pierce; and three brothers, Joe Jones, James Jones and Pete Jones.
Surviving relatives: One daughter, Linda Collins of Hugo; two sisters, Ruthie Pendergraft of Dallas and Montesse Greenwalt of Heyburn, Idaho; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the funeral home.
