Jean "Nana" Gilliam

GRANBURY - Jean "Nana" Gilliam, 71, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004 in Fort Worth.
Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial was at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fort Towson Cemetery in Fort Towson, Okla. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral and 1 p.m. to graveside service time at Fort Towson Cemetery.

Jean Gilliam was born Aug. 12, 1933 in Fort Towson, Okla. She loved her "Bee Bee" "Patches" and Miss Kity'. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Granbury Medical Center and Agriculture Extension Education Club of Hood County. She was retired from U.T.A. Arlington bookstore. She was loved by many, cherished her grandkids and husband and an avid gardener and bird watcher.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Chad Gilliam and parents, Durwood and Ruth Scruggs.
Survivors: Husband, Dalton Gilliam of Granbury; son, Brian Gilliam and wife, Kim of Spring; daughters, Jeannie Williams and husband, James of Granbury, Sharon Ellington and husband, Bob of Granbury and Paula Yoder and husband, Rick of Granbury; grandchildren, Stephen, Stefany, Jennifer, Jason, Jamie, Lindsey, Jessica, Heather, Lauren and Annah; and brother, Herbert and wife, Peggy Tate of Schertz.
