Bonita Downing Blair

     Graveside services for Bonita Downing Blair of Swink were held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2004, in Swink Cemetery.
     Mrs. Blair died August 23, 2004, at her home. She was 71. She was Housekeeping Supervisor at Valliant Nursing Home for several years and was of the Baptist faith.
     She was born January 15, 1933 in West Virginia, the daughter of James Henry Wilson and Betha Jane (Pethal) Wilson and had lived most of her life in the Swink and Valliant area. She loved gardening, sewing, and taking care of other people. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Downing and her second husband, Donald Blair. Also, five brothers and one sister: Carl Wilson, Thelma Ellis, Norman Wilson, Gail Wilson, Paul Wilson and Harry Wilson.
     Surviving relatives: Four sons, Robert Downing of Swink, Randy Downing of Valliant, Greg Downing of Valliant and James Downing of Swink; one sister, Florence Crow of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Gordon Wilson of Medford, Ore.; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
