Memorial services for Arthur Brown of Boswell were held at 6 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2005, at Victory Life Church in Boswell.

Mr. Brown died Tuesday, August 23, 2005, in Boswell. He was 85.Arthur Brown was born on October 14, 1919 in Bloodland, Missouri to Absolem L. and Marym (Light) Brown. He married Evelyn Brown on February 9, 1949 in Arkansas. He had lived in this area for the past 10 years after moving here from Missouri. He was a cab driver and had served his country in the U.S. Army and he will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Evelyn Brown in 1995.Arthur is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Joe Farmer of Boswell; one sister, Mae Harmon of Richland, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
