     Funeral services for Franklin Burris of Idabel were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Baptist Church with Rev. A.W. Gulley officiating. Interment was in Eagletown Cemetery, Eagletown, Okla.
     Mr. Burris died January 14, 2004, at the VA Hospital in Muskogee. He was 68.
     Surviving relatives: wife, Juanita Burris of Idabel; son, Artis K. Burris of Hanford, Calif.; seven step-sons, David Raines of Kansas, Horace Raines of Hugo, Steven Raines of Ponca City, Donald Raines, Jeffery Taylor, Leedell Fields and Sylvester Fields, all of Idabel; four step-daughters, Shelia Raines, Angela Hatchett, Kristi Threatt and LaQuita Fields, all of Idabel; three brothers, Ray Burris, Billy Wayne Burris of Broken Bow, and Donald Burris of Idabel; four step-brothers, Marshall, Gale, Jerry and Anthony Wright; five sisters, Joyce Gordon of Broken Bow, Alberta Briley of Idabel, Patricia Waddy, Erma Rogers, Jean Green, all of Kansas City, Mo.; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
