     Funeral services for Rebecca Byrd of Hugo were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Parker officiating. Interment was in Crosley Cemetery.
Mrs. Byrd died July 14, 2004, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. She was 59. She was retired from Campbell Soup Company. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
     Surviving relatives: Son, Fidel Spring of Hugo; daughter, Rosalind Patterson of Hugo; brother, Roosvelt Byrd of Hugo; sister, Juanita Noble of Oakland, Calif.; Goddaughter, Tahaska Tucker of De Soto, Texas; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
     Services under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home.
