Artie Robert Chancellor

Funeral services for Artie Robert Chancellor of Hugo, formerly of Antlers, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2005, at Brown’s Chapel in Atoka with Michael Nowlin officiating. Interment was in Redden Cemetery in Daisy.
Mr. Chancellor passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2005, in Durant. He was 49. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
Artie was born on November 28, 1955 to A.D. and Mandy (Story) Chancellor in Houston, Texas.
He attended school in Antlers, and married Sherry Lea Youngblood on June 5, 1975 in Atoka. He was preceded in death by his father, A.D. Chanceollor, and a brother, Richard Chancellor.
Surviving relatives: Wife, Sherry of the home in Hugo; daughter, Sharon Wickson of Hugo; one grandson; mother, Mandy Youngblood of Antlers; brothers, James Russell Chancellor of Hugo, Timothy Paul Chancellor of Antlers, B.J. Youngblood of Wright City; mother-in-law, Sharon Youngblood of Oklahoma City; brothers-in-law, Rodney Youngblood and Frank Youngblood, Jr., of Oklahoma City; sisters-in-law, Brenda Chancellor of Hugo, Diana Dean and Regina Eaton of Oklahoma City; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many very dear and loved friends.
