Donald “Don” Raeford Fails

Graveside services for Donald “Don” Raeford Fails of Soper were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Soper with Bro. Donald Fails officiating, assisted by Bro. Jonathan Hooker.
Mr. Fails died July 21, 2005, in Soper. He was 62. He was owner of Masterbilt fencing in Amarillo, Texas, and Fails Construction in Pryor, and worked for Covington Tractor Co. for six years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Donald was born December 25, 1942 in Soper, the son of Jim Fails and Geneva “Dinah” (Davis) Fails. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Jacqueline Fails.
SURVIVING RELATIVES: five sons; Kenneth L. Drake of Killeen, Texas, Chris Drake of Locust Grove, Clayton Drake of Chouteau, Jimmy Don Fails of Moore, and Donald Lee Fails of Pryor; three daughters; Melodie Fails McBroom of Azle, Texas, Connie Fails Aldridge of High Ridge and Sheila Fails Spangler of Yukon; three brothers; James “Buddy” Fails of Broken Bow, Billy Wayne Fails, and Raymond Lloyd Fails both of Soper; and one sister Sue Mann of Houston, Texas; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
