Claudine Gibson

Funeral services for Claudine Gibson of Paris, Texas, formerly of Hugo, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Rev. Ralph Taylor officiating. Interment was in Springs Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibson died Tuesday, June 19, 2005, in Paris, Texas. She was 83.Eugenia Mobel Claudine Gibson was born on October 17, 1921 in Howard County, Ark., to James Alexander and Myrtle (Safferlee) Osborn. She married George Gibson on September 22, 1941. She had lived in this area most of her life until she moved to Paris, Texas, 20 years ago. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, George Gibson; one son, Dale Gibson; and one brother, James Vester Osborn.
Claudine is survived by one son, Jackie Wayne Gibson of Paris, Texas; two daughters, Melba Sue Davidson of Paris, Texas, and Hazel Fern Ybarra of Deport, Texas; one sister, Lucille Walker of Laramie, Wyo.; 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Sunday, July 24, 2005, from 4-5 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
