Melvin A. Inge

Funeral services for Melvin A. Inge of Ft. Towson were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Ft. Towson Baptist Church in Ft. Towson. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.
Mr. Inge died Friday, July 15, 2005, in Hugo. He was 85.
Melvin Inge was born on November 15, 1919 in Sawyer, Okla., to George William and Lucy Rebeca (Carner) Inge. Melvin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Towson and loved his family dearly. He was a retired Master Carpenter and Builder. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Cathryn “Mahaffey” Inge; and son Richard Inge.
He is survived by two daughters, Melva Jean Berry and Norma Smith and husband Jim, all of Dallas, Texas; one grandchild, Cory Berry of Dallas, Texas; and one great-grandchild, Dillon Berry of Dallas, Texas.
Family received friends Monday, July 18, 2005, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Melvin Inge Home in Fort Towson.
