The Ft Towson Enterprise February 12, 1909 -
transcribed & contributed by Ron Henson
J.H. Hall, a former citizen of Hugo, died Sunday evening at the home of his father-in-law, Mr. Hopson, at Fort Towson.
Until recently Mr. Hall was manager of the Hugo Wholesale Grocery company, and also largely interested financially.
Mr. Hall's health had been bad for some time and he left here Thursday intending to return to his old home in Kingsland, Ark., but stopped at Fort Towson for a brief visit to relatives, and the end came suddenly. Before coming to this city about a year ago, Mr. Hall was cashier of a bank at Kingsland. He leaves a wife and two children. -- Hugo Daily News
