Will Hold Funeral Rites For Charlie E. Johnson at 2:30
Died From Heart Attack Friday Afternoon
Funeral services for Charlie E. Johnson, who died at his home east of Hugo at 4:30 o’clock Friday afternoon from a heart disease, will be held at the Springs Chapel cemetery at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon with the Rev. Malcom McFarland officiating.
Mr. Johnson was well known in this section and leaves a host of friends who mourn his sudden passing.
He’s survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Johnson; two daughters, Waunell and Mrs. A. W. O’Neal, two sons, Willard and Russell, all of Hugo; five step-children, Roy, Travis, Sylvia, Syble and Estelle Haislip, all of Hugo; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Funk and Mrs. Willie Funk and a brother, Ed Johnson, Sunset, Texas.
Interment will be made in the Springs Chapel cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.
The News joins with the many friends of the deceased in extending our sympathy to the family.
