On last Wednesday evening near night time the home and two blessed babes of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Michael in the Forks of Boggy were consumed by fire.
We weep with them in their hour of distress for there is a tender silver cord of sympathy in the human heart that binds the souls of men, that makes the whole world bow in reverence, that makes a common level, and then we know there is a God of Love Divine who cheers the acheing heart and gives us courage and strength to face and endure the bitterness of the cup of desolation and dispair.

Belle, the 14 year old daughter of Mr. Felix Love and wife, passed to the Great Beyond on Monday October 10. Her remains were laid to rest in the Boswell Cemetery Tuesday evening.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.B. Ailstock of this city. With the bereaved loved ones bow head in reverence and our heart beats in human sympathy with theirs. We know the anguish of an aching heart and the throbbing pain of grief for had an angel sister once who now rests in solitary slumber beneath the bosom of mother earth. But there is consolation in knowing that there is a God of Nature, who is kind, lovable and just who will all our burdens share if we confide them to him. Solace, reconciliation and comfort there abide.

We regret to chronicle the death of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Low's baby, which we reported dangerously ill last week. It had every care and attention it possibly could have had, but the complication of diseases was more than its frail body could stand, and it passed peacefully away early Monday morning, and was buried at Old Town the following afternoon. To the devoted father and mother we extend our heartfelt sympathy in this their dark hour of sorrow, but they must remember their little one is now safe in the arms of He who said, "Suffer little children to come unto me, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
