Ernestine Belle “Tina” Norris

FORT WORTH - Ernestine Belle “Tina” Norris, 72, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005 in Fort Worth.

Memorial Service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home Chapel. Family received friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Tina loved children and dedicated a lot of her time to mentally challenged children in Oklahoma City through the Foster Grandparents Program. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, sewing, writing, and learning. She loved her word games, including crosswords and Scrabble.

Survivors: Daughters, Julia Duncan and husband, Jimmy, and Lois Hiney; son, Tim Norris; brothers, Rex Pharis and wife, Joyce, Billy Ray Pharis and wife, Sandy; sister, June Peters and husband, Gene; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
