Darrell Taylor

Funeral services for Darrell Taylor of Durant were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, with Rev. Randy Mayfield officiating. Interment was in Shoat Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor died Saturday, July 16, 2005, in Garland, Okla. He was 42.Darrell Eugene Taylor was born in Atoka on April 28, 1963 to Buford Ray and Ruth Ann (Allen) Taylor. He had lived in this area most of his life and was of the Pentecostal faith. Darrell’s family and friends will miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Ruth Taylor; three brothers, Allen Ray Taylor, Gary Wayne Taylor and James Glen Taylor.

He is survived by one son, Nicholas Jake Taylor of Hugo; his grandmother, Mary Allen of Hugo; three brothers, David Taylor of Wylie, Texas, Paul Taylor of Hugo, and Don Taylor of Eagletown; six sisters, Martha Smith, Brenda Taylor and Helen Boling all of Hugo, Linda Burchfield of Sawyer, Janet Sheffield of Durant and Patricia Farris of Kenefic; one special friend, Deana Irvin of Hugo; and numerous family and friends.

Family received friends Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, from 6-7 p.m.
