BORN: APRIL 19, 1917 DIED: MAY 25, 2002

Gladys Stephens Birt, 82, of Odessa, Texas, LVN for Medical Center Hospital, died Saturday, May 25, 2002, in a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Fort Towson, Okla., and lived in Odessa for 46 years. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Robert L. Birt of Odessa; daughters, Shirley Elizondo of Midland and Billie Jeanine Kam of Albany, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
