BORN: DECEMBER 25, 1925 DIED: AUGUST 18, 2002

Johnnie Roan Buchanan, 76, of Spencerville, Okla., died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Bob Poandl as celebrant. Burial will follow in Spencerville Cemetery in Spencerville, Okla., under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Dillard Lee Buchanan of the home; two sons, Mike Roan and wife Cindy of Durant, Okla., and Dan Buchanan of Virginia Beach, Calif.; brother, Hommer Berry “Bud” Roan Jr. of Hugo; three sisters, Linda Rabon of Hugo, Okla., Elizabeth Lane of Rattan, Okla., and Kate Cousins of New Berg, Ore.; and two grandchildren, Daniel Patrick Buchanan and Reid Michael Buchanan.
