CAIN, ALICE AMERICA (HUTCHINS)

Graveside services for Alice America Cain, 85, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Hewitt Cemetery with the Rev. Monte Dean officiating.
Born Dec. 26, 1915, at Fort Towson to Virgil and Adra Hendrix Hutchins, she died March 14, 2001, at Ardmore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Christine Hilbrandt, and one brother, Wallace Shelton.
She moved to California to live with her grandmother at an early age and attended school at Holtville, Calif. She and William A. "Bud" Cain were married Jan. 19, 1941, at Arizona and lived at California until moving to Wilson in 1979. She was a member of Rexroat Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years; one daughter, Charlene, and her husband, George, Hathaway, Zimmerman, Minn.; five grandchildren, Sheryll Mayes-Okerstrom, Virgil Hathaway, Neil Hathaway, Brian "Quint" Hathaway and Karol Lea Chock; eight great-grandchildren, Jason, William, Jeramie, Melissa, Nicholas, Theodore, Clayton and Allen; and five great-great-grandchildren, Josephine Lynn, Brittani May, Dedra, Nathan and Natasha.
Bearers are Dalton Cain, Bobby Way, Curtis Turner, Kenneth Cain, James Turner and Bennie Cartwright.
Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
