Funeral services for Jim Dalton, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with J.D. Rodgers officiating.

Burial will be in Hart Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Dalton died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at his residence. He had worked in construction and had been self-employed.

He was born Sept. 2, 1915, in Fort Towson, Okla.
On Aug. 19, 1937, he married Thelma Pearl Blundell in Cooper. She died Dec. 9, 1991.

Survivors include two daughters, Nelda Myers of Plainview and Donnie Sue Miller of Hart; two sons, Thomas Jim Dalton of Iowa Park, La., and David Ray Dalton of Plainview; a brother, Albert Wayne Dalton of Sulphur Springs; a sister, Bonnie Kate Wolfe of Commerce; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
