BORN: DECEMBER 10, 1908 DIED: JANUARY 29, 2001

Almeta Davis, 92 of Fort Towson died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at Eastern Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Frazier officiating. Rogan Funeral Home will make burial in Box Spring Cemetery.

Surviving are a sister, Fannie Webster of Warren, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Margret Calvin of Washington, D.C., Oleta Jackson of Houston, Melody Matthews of Amarillo, Beverly Smith of Wichita Falls, Dianne McCollister of Fort Towson, Ruthie Williams of Dallas and J.B. Butler of Beaumont; 17 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
