Sue Cunningham Garrett, 55, of Paris died Monday, March 26, 2001.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Lamar Avenue Church of Christ with Dr. John Cannon, Patrick Cannon and Dr. Mike Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home.

She was born May 25, 1945, in Hugo, Okla., to James M. and Edna Dorough Cunningham. She was a member of Lamar Avenue Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She married Paul E. Garrett on June 14, 1963.

Surviving are her husband; sons, Curtis Garrett and wife Kristi and Chad Garrett, all of Paris; a daughter, Jamilyn Garrett of Abilene; her mother, Edna Cunningham of Paris; her mother-in-law, Bessie Garrett of Blossom; a grandson, Landon Garrett of Paris; and a granddaughter, Melyssa Garrett of Paris.

Pallbearers will be Carl Haggard, Bob Crockett, Smithy Allen, Butch Munday, Hugh Anthony, Claude Jones, Clint Gage, Jim Parker and John Figgins.
