BORN: JULY 18, 1925 DIED: JANUARY 20, 1999

Funeral services for Jonas Jacobs, 73, resident of Hugo, will be held Saturday, January 23, 1999, at 2 p.m., at Cane Hill United Methodist Church, at Bentley, OK, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Sexton and Rev. Bernadine Dowdy will officiate. Interment will be at Cane Hill Cemetery of Bentley. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jacobs passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 1999, at Paris, TX.

He was born July 18, 1925 in Sunkist, OK to Johnson Jacobs and Salina Billy Jacobs. Jacobs, a carpenter, had lived all of his life in the Hugo area.

He married Carole Jones in 1956. She preceded him in death in 1981. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sophia Jacobs; two brothers, Jerry Jacobs and James Jacobs and a granddaughter, Jennifer Raper.

He is survived by one daughter, Adelaide Reynolds of Paris, TX; one step-daughter, Bernadine Dowdy of Glenpool, OK and three grandsons.
