Rattan resident, Ina Velma Keeling-Graham was born May 16, 1928 at Sumner, Kansas and passed away on May 20, 2001 at Rattan, Okla. at the age of 73 years.
Ina enjoyed square dancing, gardening, sewing, reading, doing jig saw puzzles and car racing. She was a member of the North Star Eight Square Dance Club and the Simpson Car Racing Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John William Mitchell (paternal) and Jessie Beem (adoptive), and Velma Louise (Ocobock) (Mitchell) Beem; and her first husband: Eugene John Keeling.
She is survived by her husband: Charles Eugene Graham of Hugo, Okla.; 5 sons: John Eugene Keeling of Alex, Okla., Ronald James Keeling of LaVaca, Kansas, Gary Lee Keeling of Chickasha, Okla., Eugene Jay Keeling of Ft. Towson, Okla., 3 daughters: Carolyn Stastny of Chandler, Okla., Barbara Stastny of Paden, Okla., and Jessie Elaine Simpson of Ft. Towson, Okla.; 1 brother, Elmer William Mitchell of Joplin, Missouri; 32 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Reverend Jim Needland officiated gravesite funeral services Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Rattan Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma.
