Mrs. Hettie Evans Died Tuesday

Mrs. Hettie Evans, aged 76 years, died at the home of her son, Edgar Evans, in the Bench community, Tuesday, December 6th. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1 o’clock, followed by interment in the Boswell cemetery. Rev. J.M. Messer conducted the services.

Mrs. Evans was born at Atlanta, Ga., on March 15, 1856. She moved to this community about 1900 with her family. She is survived by only one child, Edgar Evans. She was a member of the Nazerine church.
