Mrs. Fairchild Buried Tuesday

    Mrs. Inez Fairchild, one of the truly pioneer citizen of Choctaw county, was buried in the Soper cemetery Tuesday afternoon, word from the Snow Funeral home said this morning.

    Mrs. Fairchild was 77 years of age at the time of her death.

    For many months the deceased has been in poor health, but it was only a few days before her death that her illness became acute.

    She died at the home of her son, Henry Fairchilds [sic] at Forney, late Monday night.

    Funeral services were held in Hugo at the Central Church of Christ, with Reverend Pierce officiating.

    She is survived by two sons, Henry and Charlie Fairchild of Forney and by four daughters – Hugo Daily News.
