Douglas Lee Saxon

    Funeral services for Douglas Lee Saxon of Hugo were held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2004, at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Rev. Jim Moore officiating. `Interment was in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.
    Mr. Saxon died Thursday, December 2, 2004, in Tulsa. He was 63.
    Douglas was born on January 26, 1941 in Flint, Michigan, to Richard and Wilma (Lavrack) Saxon. He married Eva Jolene Saxon on December 2, 1988 in Texarkana. He had lived in Hugo for the past 20 years after moving here from Michigan. He had retired from Hugo Housing Authority, having worked in the maintenance department. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of VFW. He was preceded in death by his father, one son, Douglas Saxon, Jr., and four grandchildren.
    He is survived by his wife, Eva Jolene of the home; five sons, Dennis Saxon of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Donald Kelley of Lubbock, Texas, Kenneth Kelley, Billy Kelley and James Kelley, all of Hugo; three daughters, Dana Dinsmore of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Jackie Broach and Renita Fox of Hugo; step-mother, Bertha Saxon of Michigan; two brothers, Richard Saxon of Mt. Morris, Mich., and Paul Saxon of Pinnconning, Mich.; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    The family received friends on Sunday, December 5, 2004, from 4-6 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
