Barnes Rites Set
    Mrs. Nancy Ellen Barnes, 84, whose home was at 408 North J Street in Hugo, died Saturday night in Memorial Hospital here.
    Services are set for Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Clayton Avenue Baptist Church, the pastor, Rev. C.T. Aly, and her son, Rev. T.L. Barnes, of Fittstown, officiating. Coffey Funeral Home will make burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery here.
    Mrs. Barnes had been a resident of Hugo more than 60 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
    Her husband, Ben Barnes, survives with their 146 descendants in four generations, including these sons and daughters: Mrs. Lela Abney, Mrs. Ruby Burton, Mrs. Dessie Inge and Odie Barnes, all of Hugo; Rev. T.L. Barnes, Fittstown; Mrs. Belle Abney, Ray Barnes and J.T. Barnes, all of Pixley, Calif., and Marvin Barnes, Campbell, Calif. Mrs. Ola Fly, of New Summerfield, Tex., is a sister.
