Carl R. Browning

Services will be held for Carl R. Browning of Hugo Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Coffey Funeral Chapel.
Browning died at the age of 55 Thursday in the Veterans Hospital, Dallas, Tex. He was born in Hugo April 13, 1923 and was a lifelong Hugo area resident. He was a Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include: His father, Robert L. Browning of Los Angeles, CA.; one sister, Mrs. R.L. Higginbotham of Hugo; three brothers James, Jack and Charles Browning; and three aunts, Mrs. Elmer Henson, Mrs. Edith Stokes an [sic] Mrs. Henry Everidge all of Hugo.
Rev. Wallace Broyles will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
