Geneva Boykins

    Services for Geneva Boykins, of Purcell, were at 2 p.m. Dec. 28, 2002 at the Bill Darrough Pavilion. The Rev. Jay Garrett and the Rev. Otis Gains officiated the ceremony. Internment followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.
    Geneva Boykins died Dec. 26, 2002 in Purcell. She was 87.
    Geneva Boykins was born May 20, 1915 to Emmit and Mary Paulk in Sweetwater, Texas. She married George Boykin Aug. 31, 1935.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and her parents.
    She is survived by five children; Dorothy Stewart and Georgia Degon, both of Fort Towson, James Allen Boykin of Hugo, Evelyn Doshier of Purcell and Sue Mocko of San Jose, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a great many relatives and friends.
    The Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo handled the funeral arrangements.
