William "Babe" Bryant

    Funeral services for William "Babe" Bryant of Durant, formerly of Ft. Towson, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2005, at Ft. Towson Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Troy Ruffin officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Towson Cemetery.
    Mr. Bryant died February 7, 2005, at Four Seasons Nursing Home in Durant. He was 78.
    He was born July 14, 1926 in Ft. Towson, the son of William Daniel Bryant and Frances (Sullivan) Bryant and lived most of his life in Ft. Towson. Babe was very contented with the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, rodeos, horses, and loved playing dominoes.
    Surviving relatives: His ex-wife, Faye, of Durant; one son, Lynn Bryant of Ft. Towson; one daughter, Jan Frederick of Durant; one brother, Bob Bryant of Tulsa; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
