Graveside services for Billy Wayne Fails of Soper were held at 9:00 a.m. Friday in the Harrion Cemetery in Soper with Reverend Mutt Wallace officiating.

Mr. Fails died Thursday, October 21, 2005, in Soper. He was 68.

Billy Wayne Fails was born on March 14, 1953 in Soper, Okla. to Otis Lee and Bessie Geneva (Davis) Fails. He married Paula Ann Holder in Hugo on June 23, 1956. Bill worked as a food distributor for the Choctaw Nation. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Fails. Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Paula Fails of the home; two daughters, Becky Futrell and her husband Craig and Sandy Fails all of Soper; three brothers, James Fails of Broken Bow and Raymond Fails and his wife Wanda and Larry Holder all of Soper; one sister, Sue Mann of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Casey & Joey McClain; Amie & Tim Murray and Jeremy & Becky Futrell; three great grandchildren, James Dylan and Tobie Ray Futrell and Beth Ann McClain.
