Mrs. C.V. Baldwin
Fort Towson Enterprise – February 9, 1917 – transcribed by Ron Henson
Our town was severely shocked Sunday night when it was learned that Mrs. C.V. Baldwin was dead. She had been in her usual health and the end came about ten o’clock without warning. She had been a resident of the town about eleven years and was beloven by all who knew her. The remains were laid to rest in Doakesville cemetery. All of her children were present at the funeral. Mesdames Parker, Tiller, Simco, Lon and Barber [sic] Allen and the two younger boys, Cecil and Ray Baldwin. The Enterprise extends condolence to the bereaved family and friends.
[transcriber’s note: Mrs. Baldwin was the mother of Mrs. Jim Parker]
