Hugo Woman Passes Away
Mrs. Katherine Louise Boyd, wife of Harry Boyd, Hugo railroad man, died at 8:50 o'clock Wednesday morning of last week at her home, 610 North Second street, Hugo. Mrs Boyd had been in poor health for several years, but her death Wednesday was unexpected.
Funeral services were conducted at the First Methodist church there Thursday morning at 10 o'clock by the Rev. Virgil Alexander, pastor.
Mrs. Boyd had been a resident of Hugo since her marriage, July 2, 1910. She was 36 years of age.
Besides her husband Mrs. Boyd is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Herndon, of Hugo; a sister, Mrs. William Peeler, of Hugo, and two brothers, Robert Herndon of Hugo, and W.B. Herndon, of Corpus Christi, Texas. The latter was visiting at Hugo at the time his sister's death.
Mrs. Boyd had a wide circle of friends who mourn her death.
