Former Hugo Man Victim Of Accident
Wilbur Fitzjohn Killed in Railroad Shops At Jefferson City, Mo.
Hugo, Nov. 21 -- Wilbur Fitzjohn, 24 years old, formerly of Hugo, was killed accidentally in the Missouri-Pacific railroad shops at Jefferson City, Mo., about 8:30 oclock Thursday night, according to word received here.
Mr. Fitzjoh's parents, Mrs. John Miller and W.A. Fitzjohn, reside here. A sister, Mrs. Henry Weaver, lives in California. Mrs. Miller left Friday afternoon for Jefferson City to take charge of the body.
Mr. Fitzjohn was born at Paris, Texas, November 2, 1900. He was reared here, attending the public schools. He learned the machinist trade in the Frisco Railroad shops here and was employed in the shops at Jefferson City when he was killed.
He was to have been married in Jefferson City on Thanksgiving day.
