Funeral services for Fairy Dale Judkins of Hugo were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Hugo. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.
Mrs. Judkins died Tuesday, November 25, 2003, in Hugo. She was 63.
Fairy was born June 14, 1940, in Hugo, the daughter of Vernon and Cadye (Williams) Castelberry. She married Duane Judkins in DeQueen, Ark. Fairy was a waitress at Dawna’s Diner in Hugo. She was a lifetime member of the ladies Auxiliary and received numerous awards for secretary and treasurer of the auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son, Stoney Clinton, and a great-grandson, Kaleb Wayne Harrimon.
Fairy is survived by one son, Marty Clinton and his wife Nikki; two daughters, Dawna Ward and her husband Wayne, and Kami Davis and her husband Troy, all of Hugo; five grandchildren, Danya and Cody Harrimon, Skye Penix, Stoni Davis and Kaylee Clinton, all of Hugo; and two sisters, Jackie Pettyjohn, Grant, Okla., and Stormy Staton, Hugo.

Graveside services for Jerry Harris Samuel of Hugo were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2003, at Goodland Cemetery.
Mr. Samuel died November 25, 2003, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital. He was 68.
Jerry was born September 28, 1935, in Spencerville, Okla., the son of Jerry Samuel and Rosie (Mayabb) Samuel. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Gilbert Samuel, Albert Samuel and Wesley Samuel; one sister, Flora Lee Adams. He was a member of the Church of God.
Surviving relatives: Two sisters, Viola Melton of Antlers, and Katherine Thorpe of Hugo.

Funeral services for Jim Staggs of Boswell were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2003, at Crystal Baptist Church in Crystal, Okla., with Rev. Tim Harless and Rev. Darrel Heath officiating. Interment was in Crystal Cemetery.
Mr. Staggs died November 25, 2003, at his home. He was 51. He was a logger and heavy equipment operator.
He was born April 8, 1952, in Farris, Okla., the son of Travis lee Staggs and Ozella (Flowers) Staggs and had lived for the past 27 years in Boswell. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters: Cyndi Staggs and Jerri Petty.
Survivors: His mother: Ozella Staggs of Boswell; brothers and sisters: Pat Wilson of Frisco, Texas, Sally Hallows of Princeton, Texas, Doris Perry of Balch Springs, Texas, Janis Isbell of Lane, Okla., Raymond Staggs of Boswell, Okla., Bobby Staggs of Speer, Okla., and Judi Staggs of Lane, Okla.; 11 nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Opal Cox, 100, of Hugo, are pending with Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home. She died Saturday, November 29, 2003, in Hugo.
Funeral services for Kevin David of Hugo will be
held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2003, at First Baptist Church of Hugo with
Rev. Bennie Hammons and Rev. Mike Armes officiating. Interment will follow in
Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. David died November 29, 2003, at St. Francis
Hospital in Tulsa. He was 21.
Kevin was born November 10, 1982, and had lived all of
his life in Hugo. He was preceded in death by his father, John Waterman, Jr., on
February 24, 2003; his paternal grandfather, John Waterman, Sr.; and his
maternal grandfather, Gene Satterfield.
Surviving relatives: His mother: Teresa Waterman of
Hugo; one brother: Craig Attaway of Hugo; three sisters: Joni Waterman, Melissa
Waterman, and Krista Waterman, all of Hugo; his maternal grandmother: Eunella
Satterfield; his paternal grandmother: Mildred Waterman of Burlington, Iowa; one
nephew.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday, December 3, 2003, at the funeral home.
