ARTHUR TRIGG TERRY DIED TUESDAY P.M.
Body Brought Here for Burial Thursday Morning

Arthur Trigg Terry, aged 22 years, died at his home at Heavener, yesterday afternoon at about 7 o'clock.
His body arrived here at noon today where it was taken to the Senner Funeral home to await burial Thursday.
The family announced funeral services would be held at the First Baptist church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, with interment taking place in the Mount Olivet cemetery.
Reverend White, pastor of the Baptist church, will officiate at the rites.
Pall bearers will be old friends of the deceased. They will be Vernon Pratt, Gaines Taylor, Ocie Taylor, Paul Harris, Walter Lee Andrews and Roy Marshall.
The deceased is survived by his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Terry; five brothers, Oswell, Buck, N.B., John Amos, and Emmitt Lee, and one sister, Elizabeth.
Senner funeral home will have charge of funeral arrangements.

Terry Funeral Held At Baptist Church

Funeral services for Arthur Trigg Terry, of this city were held this morning at the First Baptist church, with Reverend White the pastor in charge.
Interment took place in the Mount Olivet cemetery.
The former Hugo high school student died at his home in Heavener early this week after a long illness.
Senner funeral home had charge of funeral arrangements.
MRS. CHARLES RITES SET FOR FRIDAY
Body Will Arrive Here From Missouri Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. F.Y. Charles, who died at Springfield, Missouri, Tuesday afternoon, will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Friday morning at nine o'clock.
The body will arrive here Thursday at noon, according to word from the Snow Funeral home, which will have charge of funeral arrangements.
Father W.H. Hall, of Antlers, will officiate at the final rites at the local church. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be E.A. Burke, Carl Krauter, Carl Sager, J. Lee Rodgers, D.F. Welch, W.H. King.
Mr. Charles died here in October of 1932.
MRS. SCHUESSLER TO BE BURIED WED.
Died at Sherman Early Monday Morning, Report States

Mrs. H.C. Schussler, of Boswell, one of the pioneer residents of that community, will be buried at Boswell tomorrow according to information to the Daily News today.
Mrs. Schuessler, the mother of Mrs. Ralph Jenner, died at Sherman, Texas in a hospital following a minor operation, according to an announcement here today.
Death occured [sic] Monday morning at about 5 o'clock.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Jenner and two sons, Frank and Carl, both of Boswell.
Funeral services will be held at the family home in Boswell, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Grantham Funeral Is To Be Held Friday

Announcement was made Wednesday that the funeral services for Dave Grantham will be held at the Goodland church at four o'clock Friday afternoon after which burial will be in the Goodland cemetery.
Dr. R.M. Firebaugh, will be in charge with Rev. E.D. Miller assisting.
Pall bearers will be Dr. C.A. Thompson, John T. McDaniel, S.A. Clark, C.F. Talkington, Carl Krauter and Dr. G.R. Clements. Mr. Grantham died in a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, Monday following a long illness.
FORMER PIONEER RESIDENT DEAD
Dave Grantham To Be Buried at Goodland Cemetery

Mack Grantham, received a message Monday night that his father, Dave R. Grantham had died Monday afternoon at 4:40.
No announcement was made as to when the funeral would be as it was not definitely determined just when the remains would arrive but burial will take place at Goodland.
Mr. Grantham was a pioneer resident of what is now Choctaw county. He was a native of Carrolton, Mississippi but moved to Weatherford, Texas where he resided before coming to the Indian Territory in 1902.
He and Mrs. Grantham were married at Weatherford. She died at Goodland on June 3, 1935.
Several years ago Mr. Grantham's health began to fail and he moved to El Paso, Texas where he resided for many years before being taken to the U.S.V.P. hospital at Phoenix, Arizona, where he remained until his death.
He served throughout the Spanish American war and was discharged with high honors. His brother, Joe Grantham, was also a Spanish-American veteran and was a resident of the Goodland community for many years before he also was compelled to go to the west for his health. he died in a hospital at Fort Bayard, New Mexico, and was buried at Goodland about eighteen months ago.
So far as is known his son, Mack Grantham, and sister in law, Mrs. J.P. Gibbnos [sic], are the only surviving relatives.
Darrough Rites Held Here This Morning

Funeral services for Mrs. Nell Darrough sister of Miss Fannie Glenn, teacher in the Hugo high school, were held this morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O.A. Brewer.
Mrs. Darrough died at her home at Terre Haute, Indiana during the weekend.
Interment took place in the Mount Olivet cemetery this morning. The Senner Funeral home had charge of funeral arrangements.

Rev. Hicks Will Read Final Services for Deceased

Funeral services for Mrs. Nell Darrough, sister of Miss Fannie Glenn, Hugo high school professor will be held at the home of Miss Glenn on East Bluff street at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning.
Interment will be held at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, following services conducted by Reverend Ernest Hicks, pastor of the First Methodist church.
Mrs. Darrough died late last week at her home in Terre Haute, Indiana, where she had been a resident for the past nine years. During this time she had taught in the city's high school.
She will be remembered as Miss Nell Glenn, a former resident of this city.
Senner funeral home will have charge of the funeral arrangements.
FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR W.A. SEALE
Pioneer Hugo Resident Buried in Spring Chapel Cemetery

Funeral services for W.A. Seale, aged about 88 years, who died at the home of his daughter Mrs. J.N. Downing, Monday were held at 3:30 this afternoon. Funeral services were held at 601 West Clayton street with Reverend Hicks officiating.
Interment took place in the Spring's Chappel cemetery.
Pall bearers at the service were J.H. Bright, Hugh Tinsley, Pete Knox, Jess Persons, Bob Draper, Morrison Smith, W.P. Weaver and Norton Wilkins.
Surviving relatives are two sons, W.H. Seale and Joe Seale and three daughters, Mrs. E.L. Landtroop, Mrs. A.E. Backman, and Mrs. J.H. Downing, 15 grand children and 13 great grand children.
Snow Funeral Home had charge of funeral arrangements.
ELKINS RITES HELD SUNDAY MORNING
Funeral Services Held At Spring Chapel Cemetery

Charlie Elkins, aged about 45 years was buried in the Spring's Chapel cemetery Sunday morning at about 10 o'clock, according to information to The News today from the Snow Funeral home which had charge of funeral arrangements.
Mr. Elkins died Saturday morning after being entangled in the main drive belt of the Webb gin.
It is believed that he purposely threw himself into the belt from which he received injuries which caused his death a short time later while receiving treatment at the office of Dr. G.E. Harris.
No motive could be given for his untimely death by officials who investigated the case.
His survivors could not be learned although it is known that he has a father some where in Oklahoma.
Mrs. J.A. McNeeley Buried At Goodland

Funeral services for Mrs. J.A. McNeely who died Sunday were held at the Goodland cemetery yesterday afternoon with Reverend McFarland reading the final rites.

Mrs. S.R. Rackley Was Buried This Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. S.R. Rackley, aged 72, were held this afternoon at the Goodland Indian cemetery, word from the Snow Funeral home stated late today.
Mrs. Rackley died at about one o'clock this morning after a long illness.
Coley Funeral Will Be Held Wednesday

Funeral services for J.I. Coley, aged about 79 years, will be held at the Forest Home School house Wednesday afternoon with reverend J.B. Ward, pastor of the Clayton Avenue Baptist church in charge.
Interment will follow in the Mount Olivet cemetery according to information from the Snow Funeral home, which will have charge of funeral arrangements.
Mr. Coley died at the home of his son, D.F. Coley, at Forest Chapel early this morning.
Mrs. Lou Wilkins Died At Home Of Her Son

According to word from the Snow funeral home, funeral services for Mrs. Lou Wilkins of the Shoals community will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.
The deceased died at the home of her son this morning at about 6 o'clock after a long illness. She was 84 years of age at the time of her death.
Charles H. Winn Died At His Home Tuesday

Charles H. Winn, aged 79, died at his home at 210 East Laurel street at 4:40 Tuesday afternoon.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the family residence with Reverend J.B. Ward officiating. Interment followed in the Springs Chappel cemetery with the Senner Funeral Home in charge.
Surviving relatives are, his widow, Mrs. S.V. Winn, a son, Charles Winn, and three daughters, Rachel and Florence all of Hugo, and Mrs. Dollie Lowe of Henrietta, Oklahoma.
William David Maloney To Be Buried Thurs.

William David Maloney, aged 78, died at his home at Soper at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning with burial at Commerce, Texas, with the Reverend H.M. Crosby officiating, according to word from the Senner Funeral home, which will be in charge of funeral arrangements.
He is survived by his widow, Alpha Maloney, five sons, John, Homer, Earl, Leonard and Fred, all of Soper, and four girls, Miss Leman Maloney of Stillwater, Miss Frieda, of Soper, Mrs. K.P. Hampton, of Seminole, and Mrs. H.T. Smith of Oklahoma City.
Mathis Infant to Be Buried Thursday

Dale, the eleven day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Mathis, died at eleven o'clock Wednesday morning.
Funeral services will be held from the home 1002 West Jackson street, Thursday morning with Rev. Hicks, pastor of the First Methodist church in charge and the Snow Funeral home directing.
Mrs. Mathis, who is a patient at the Doctor's hospital, is reported improving but still very ill.
L.L. Moody Buried At Fort Towson Monday

L.L. Moody, aged 58 years, was buried at Fort Towson this afternoon, according to word from the Senner funeral home.
Mr. Moody died after a long illness at his home, yesterday, the information stated.
MRS. G.H. COLEMAN DIED HERE TUESDAY
Died As Result of Self Administered Carbolic Acid

Mrs. G.H. Coleman, of this city died of poisoning which was self administered at about 11 o'clock Tuesday night.
Death occured [sic] in the Doctor's hospital where she had been taken in a Snow Funeral home ambulance.
No reason was given for the act, according to county and city authorities who made an investigation following the tragedy.
No funeral arrangements had been made this morning according to the information to The News from Snow Funeral Home. They are held up pending the arrival of relatives.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband, and two children, the latter living at Kenefic, in Bryan County.
