Darvis Lee Billings “HOBO”

Darvis Lee Billings, better known as Hobo, of Antlers, passed away on December 15, 2005 in Antlers at the age of 58. He was born on September 26, 1947 in Hugo to Lee and Emma (Antwine) Billings. Hobo was a member of the Church of Christ and he served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He thought the world of all the special family members in his life and leaves behind his sister, Shirley Stillwell and her husband Joe of the Nelson Community; a nephew Jason Stillwell and his wife LeeAnn and a great niece Ashley all of the Nelson Community. Hobo is also survived by his family at the Antlers Nursing Home and his family at Hometown Hospice.

Funeral services for Hobo were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2005, at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Hank Anderson officiating. Interment was in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Soper.
