Joseph Wilbur Bunn

Funeral services for Joseph Wilbur Bunn of Hugo were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Rev. Michael Buettner and Rev. James Moore officiating. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Bunn died December 17, 2005, in Paris, Texas. He was 96. He was employed in sales & service of televisions. He was a radio operator in the US Army and patrolled the Gulf Coast by air during World War II. He was a member of Church of the Nazarene.

Joseph was born November 17, 1909 in Hugo, the son of Joseph Richard and Maggie (McClure) Bunn. He had lived in Hugo since 1975 when he moved from New York. He married Isabelle Carver July 1, 1963 in Milford, Penn. His parents precede him in death.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: his wife; Isabelle Bunn of Hugo, two daughters; Barbara Frisbie of Kenoza Lake, N.Y. and Karen Wood of Hugo, two sons; Joe Bunn of Hugo and Homer Spangler of Lake Huntington, N.Y., nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren along with a host of friends and relatives.
