Margaret Skinner Allen

Margaret Skinner Allen passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006. Margaret was born May 30, 1918 to James and Margaret Skinner in Howe, Okla. She made Midwest City her home in 2004 after previously living in Tahlequah since 1960. Margaret graduated from Oklahoma State University and St. Edward Nursing School in Ft. Smith, Ark. She received her R.P.N. degree from the University of Minnesota. She was a member of the Oklahoma Nursing Association, the Native American Indian Nurses Association, and The Eastern Star. She is survived by her son, Charles W. Allen of Midwest City. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Skinner; her husband, Walter; a sister, Mary Moran; and two brothers, Charles Skinner and Dr. James A. Skinner. Funeral Service was held 2 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Ft. Towson with burial at Ft. Towson Cemetery.
